In August 2006, Towbars and Trailers was acquired by business partners Kieren Batchelor, Nick Batchelor and Ian Mycock. With a combined experience of approaching 40 years in the trailer and towbar fitting industry, the partners have a wealth of knowledge regarding all aspects of towing and towbar fitting.

Towbars and Trailers is now being run by Kieren and Nick, Ian remains in Stockport running sister business North West Towbar Centre.

There are still familiar faces at Chesterfield. Shaun who has been with the business for the last 18 years, has an extensive knowledge of trailer spares and the towing industry. In the workshop, Steven continues to manufacture and service trailers, service caravans and design and fit motor home towbars, all to a very high standard.

Towbars and Trailers was the first Towing Centre to achieve accreditation from the National Trailer and Towing Association (N.T.T.A.). The high standards of quality and care required to gain this accreditation are of particular importance to all involved in the business, ensuring Chesterfield Towbars and Trailers continues as a leader in the towing industry.
